if you have MANY reseller accounts, then the best will be to get a full server than go for any Virtual stuff.

and in case of VPS and reseller, i would say VPS, since with the "root" comes more powers !

the big question is how much resources is each one of your reseller accounts using
how many domains are you hosting etc then you will know if a VPS can handle it or if you need a dedicated server

Well , by many i mean 3 reseller accounts ...
All togheter means 30 Gb space , and about 30 accounts not more than 15 gb space ...
I would like to go for a VPN , but if i do that , can i get my own resellers ? or i must talk to my hosting company ?

i would like to add that my reseller accounts are hosted on servers with this configuration:
CPU dual xeon 2,4 ghz hyperthreading (cache 512 kb)
    memory 1 Gb ddram ecc
Disk 2 HDD serial ata (i use 3* 10 Gb)

    the VPM sounds like this:
    CPU: 1200MHZ GUARANTEED + BURSTABLE
    Memory: 512MB GUARANTEED + BURSTABLE
    Disk Space : 20GB (RAID-10 w/Hotswap)

I think your confusing your acronyms VPN= virtual private network which has nothing to do with what your asking

    VPS= Virtual private Server
    VDS= Virtual dedicated server

First of all, you are asking about all this in a wrong forum site. You should rather ask about such things at webhostingtalk forums probably.
Btw, I would like to try and clear some of your doubts here itself so you can ask maybe other questions in there. A VPS is a Virtual Private Server while VPN is a Virtual Private Network. I think you have been talking about VPS all the time and not VPN.
Now, you said you have the following:
3 reseller accounts with 30 domains across them and 30 GB total space
15GB data is the total space that you have used so far.

You have also described about some VPS offering which you have been looking at and that you intend to close all your reseller accounts and get a VPS for yourself.

Here, I would like to advise you to first of all read various threads and posts in the forum website as mentioned above and then decide which is the best host company for your needs.

Generally you can ignore the CPU guarantee (as most of the VPS hosting companies use Dual AMD Opterons or Dual Intel Xeons on the nodes) and just look out for Guaranteed RAM and burstable RAM and Disk Space when it comes to selecting your host. Secondly, you should also consider the fact that approx 2 GB would be used by the system software and the mail, dns, cpanel and other utilities on your VPS.

There are many other variables which you should consider while selecting the hosting company for your VPS needs. Infact you should probably also look at two VPSes instead of having one. Maybe you can get two VPSes of 256MB RAM with 10GB space each and apply upgrade of 2 GB- 3 GB each whenever you need.

Hey this is now getting toooo long, why dont you simply pm me, maybe I can help you out with all this (ofcourse for free). Nor am I going to tilt you towards a particular host, nor do I have a hosting company of my own. ;-)

Well , thanks all for your answers .. I have claered my mind now .
    My bad about VPN ...
Yes it is a VPS .
I have all three accounts at a company and i very pleased with them.
Excelent support , less then 30 minutes by mail/ticket ... for emergencies they call me directly on my phone .. in the past 8 months the server was off for not much than 5 minutes ...
    And yes,
The servers all use dual xeon processors 3,06 hyperthreading processors ...

now , they guarantee as i said 512 Mb memory + burst ..
and it has 20 GB disk space .
Yes, i can upgrade for more space for a fee of 1$/GB

So that VPS really sound nice ....

I am looking forward to stayig with that company as i Think they are the best for me ...

    Again , Thanks all
