    This attempts to prevent users from looking at other users files/directories, etc. via the web server.

    Is there any documentation on it ?

    What kind of protection offer "web root protection" .
    (Is'it a chroot of users ? Is it like php safe mode on which doesn't permit to execute php code outside /home/user ?)

    Thank you

    Thumbs up

    I opened a ticket and I received this reply :

    ===============
    web root protection chown's the public_html of a user to user.nobody so only the user and nobody can access the files, therefore locking out any others from the public_html directory (good if you have shell users) It is suggested and is stable.
    ===============

    It's time to leave "php safe mode on"

    I think that was already said in another post about a month ago. You seem to be slightly behind the events.
