Web Stats + Logs

Hi All,

Just wondering if this webalizer + domlog problem, where webalizer looses all stats/history and starts from scratch, has a solution yet with the latest build of cPanel that is out? I've read threads from a few months ago, with some working some not. I'm begining to run outta disk space fast cause of the logs, so just wondering if we can use the options under 'tweak settings': Delete each domain's access logs after stats run? I currently only have 'keep logs at end of the month'.

There are months of stats on the box so i dont really need webalizer to die on me. Apologies if i have missed something here.

I hazard to say that it has been fixed. Although I haven't actually switched the feature back on again myself, I have deleted the log files from the domlogs and logs directory a couple of times now and it hasn't effected the Webalizer stats history. Assuming that the Tweak Settings feature doesn't do anything else "special", you should be safe enough. Let us know how you get on.

You dont fill me with confidence here but i'll give it a try anyway... awstats should still work. can only hope..

will let know the outcome in a few days.

Ok tis the 1st of june. Logs rotated and Webalizer still works

made sure these were unticked:

Keep log files at the end of the month (default is off as you can run out of disk space quickly)

and

Delete each domain's access logs after stats run



And now i have my disk space back!

Just thought i'd let you know
