Webdav view file permissions/owners question

I finally got Webdav with cPanel working by upgrading to Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

The question I have is, when I use finder to Get Info, it does not show me the permissions/owner of the file server but shows me the local computer default permissions/owner which are obviously wrong. Is there another way I should be doing this? Or can it be done at all? I have complete root access and WHM to the server so if there is anything I need to check or do in Apache I can do it.
