weblazier eva2000 config

i have followed the webalzer config at
http://i4net.tv/marticle/get.php?action=getarticle&articleid=22

but have a couple of problems, i have lost my previous months stats, it gives octobers and some of sept but that is it. when i check usr/local/apache/domlogs i found;

domainname.co.uk-bytes_log

also with the history file should it be

domainname.co.uk
or
domainname.co.uk.hist

also how will this change affect the analog stats

well if you followed the articles steps, you only lost the stats as reported at the default location - you can still view the old stats using the old url domain.com:2082/tmp/username/webalizer/index.html or something like that depending on if you\'re using default or iconic theme etc

i just left the bytes_log alone in the domlogs directory

as to history file

use

domain.hist without the top level extension

so

thedomain.co.uk

would be thedomain.hist

and this doesn\'t affect analog at all i don\'t think plus analog is inaccurate anyway.. i just disabled analog altogether

Thanks for reply, this raises question were and when do/do not use the top level extension in conf?

ie. i have
IncrementalName mydomian.co.uk
shouold it be
IncrementalName mydomian.co.uk.current
or
IncrementalName mydomian.current

I have change the history to what you suggested and when i run the stats from consol i get error message

History file not found...
Previous run data not found...

As for previous stats, i get 30th sept from 15hr to 23hrs and all of october. I understand this is due to log rotatation; will log rotation work with new setup?

How will affect the downloading of raw logs from cpanel? or won\'t it?

Yep i can find old stats ok

Also country usage is broke now broke on stats in new setup!!

Been a great help, i also plan to use http://www.ezboo.com/softs/ on pages for this domain relevent to advertisers as it has nice web page which they can looked at.

Is there somewhere i can get info on the differeance between Analog and Webalizer, there seems to be a big differance in page requests reported between the 2.
