Default weird problem with mail after domain change

someone always used a subdomain for his hosting account for example:

john.doo.com after a while he deceided to buy john.com but he wanted to keep john.doo.com as well because he used the email account jonny@john.doo.com.

So what i did was, changed the domain john.doo.com for john.com in 'Modify an Account'.

After that i parked the subdomain john.doo.com on john.com

    but now the problem:

when the guy want to add a e-mail account, lets say info@.. then it creates info@john.com and info@john.doo.com at the same time.

    kinda weird.

another strange thing, when i look in the /home/user/mail folder i see some files like inbox, inbox.drafts, inbox.sent etc but also the folder info!

while there also 2 other folders: john.com and john.doo.com with info in both folders.

    looks kinda meshed up.

    How do i fix this?

[yes i run fix mailboxes in whm, didnt work, deleting all files from mail didnt help, unparking and reparking didnt help as well]
