Weird SSL Problem

I am having a some what weird problem regarding SSL. I have installed a SSL cert correctly and https:// works fine. But when try https://secure.mydomain.com:2083/2087 it gives me a warning message.

The weird part is, the domain name that the cert is self signed with is not my hostname. It is one of my domains that is being hosted on the same box but there is not sub domain that the cert is showing. Now, i did use this sub domain as my hostname when i first installed cpanel but since then i have changed the hostname through WHM as well as through shell access. The /etc/hosts is set correctly. And in shell, if i type hostname it shows the current hostname. But anytime i use a secure address, the self signed domain name shown is the old hostname.

Is there a hidden/secret place that the old hostname is still being used from?

And also, when is it showing a self signed cert when i go https://secure.mydomain.com:2083/2087 in the first place? The secure.mydomain.com works fine without the ports attached to it.

The certs for your regular web site are different than the certs for CPanel. They're two different web server instances.

then how do i secure the cpanel/whm logins as well as the webmail logins?

And why does it still show the old domain name in the self signed cert?
