weird thing about reading e-mail size.

du -k /home/domain/mail/domain.com/$user

i use to use this command to show the size of every e-mail to keep a control.
because its a webmail system.

but, after the convertion to maildir it show me like its empty

what have been change where should i look for the files etc.. ?

You have to total up all the files in the subdirectories beneath the one that you used to look in. That is, try:

du -k --max-depth=1 /home/domain/mail/domain.com/$user

yes solved great but im wondering it was working fine before only with du -k

It was working before because prior to the maildir conversion you only had files at that level in the directory tree (e.g. inbox). Now with maildir theirs a new directory hierarchy and the new directive I added counts all the files under that tree.
