What is the current Stable version?

There isn't much any stable release? Or am I wrong here?

A stable release is released when it is stable.

I mean if you want a less stable release run the release tree or edge tree.

Otherwise just wait until a release of the stable tree is ready. We all know you would come whining that your server broke if something was broken in the stable release.

Cpanel 8.5.3-S3 is the latest Stable release. It was released around mid-October.

Before the last release, stable releases were released much more frequently. That is why people are asking if this is the latest release and showing concern.

Make sure that you check the changelog when you login to your WHM.

It appears as if 8.7.0 is going to be STABLE very soon (maybe, tomorrow?).

Of course, if you have been around long enough, you may want to wait a few days and keep checking this forum before upgrading, as even STABLE releases can have a glitch or two.

Remember, with RedHat dropping RHL and allowing a choice of either Enterprise or Fedora, VAR's are probably getting no sleep in their efforts to even attempt to build/enhance around a new platform that isn't really STABLE itself.
