I am seeing a whole lot of these in my mail log:

Anyoe know what causes that? I've been having some trouble with exim on a few of my servers with extremely high load. It just kind of started all of a sudden. It seems like I am now getting 200 + exim process's going at a time, where I used to only get like maybe 50-60.

Then I am noticing my mail ques are filling up like crazy, with valid mail. I am seeing 1500 messages get stuck in the que every 12-20 hours. When I click on "deliver" they deliver no problem.

I'm getting a little frustrated with it because I never had this problem before. I'm just wondering if exim is locking up and mail is getting stuck in the que for some reason?

can you have paste a full log for some of the mails being not delivery and shows in your exim log?

Check also the exim panic log, you might be able to get some clues.

It's so strange....Today everything is back to running normally...low load, and the mail is being delivered fine. It does that sometimes as well...seems to be fine, then starts acting up . When it happens again I'll get you some lines from the log from the messages that are getting stuck...

There is nothing in the panic log....well nothing since the 7th..
