What happend to Neomail?

I dont see the option to enabled it in Tweek Settings

How do I get Neomail back?

Yes, I see Neomail update during upcp and the files are physically on the server, but there is no Neomail option in tweak settings and it does not show up in webmail. I need it back also.

Cpanel announced discontinued support for Neomail a very long time ago ....

Now thats something REALLY bad!

Aparently, since i transfered accounts from one server with NEOMAIL to another one, the new server does not have NEOMAIL, which means all the mail accounts simply lost their emails.
99% of my users used neomail....which means they prefered it far more than the other two webmail programs... i can only say this is very bad.

I know this is annoying ... cpanel decided to drop it because it was unreliable and caused a significant support burden, locking people's email and causing other problems. Unfortunately since they don't publish any sort of bulletin you just need to keep up with what's happening here. Now if someone or a group of someones decided to publish a cpanel bulletin that would be a very useful thing!

(By bulletin - I mean a list of significant events, well moderated, low volume, for instance notes on updates to cpanel, significant issues etc, interesting articles..... all high quality, and a good content to noise ratio)

Perhaps you have been misinformed. According to cpanel they dropped it because they expected everyone should be upgrading to Courier IMAP to close a security hole and when most people did that Neomail was no longer compatable with Courier since it does not work on the IMAP technology so it was their right to drop Neomail. Thank god they did. It was the worst email client i have ever used.

Could well be, but the above was true too - it did lock people's email, and it was a support burden - from personal experience.

neomail sux. try getting roundcube and squirellmail instead.
