Same here just went to restore an account and saw it attempting to restore all those databases, killed it real quick.

Once again why in the heck bring in another function such as posgres before its fully tested, considering its running in the background using up resources and we have had 1 client in a 500 hundred request this.

Now its causing account restore issues.

    exactly same problem
a fast fix was to stop the PostgreSQL while restoring accounts then restart the service
but when the restorepkg script works it tries to connect to PostgreSQL service and then fail so no harm but that making the restore very very slow
any idea why this happens ?

I'm not seeing how this is possible. A bug report is a good place to start, but send in a ticket to my attention so I can access a server with this issue.

Actually, among my customers PostgreSQL is more popular than MySQL.

Agree with casey, and since we've had Postgres (since cpanel included it last year) we have not had one single issue with it.

if your not going to submit that as bug then allow me to submit a ticket so cpoanel staff can see the bug on a server we have that has this problem <<< last resort

Just wanted to note that I have not been able to locate a single support request or bug report in our systems regarding this issue. I'd really like to see if this is an actual issue. I'll reiterate once again that if we can't reproduce the issue on our testing servers, then there's little that can be done to resolve this issue. I've went over all the code involved and can't see how this is possibly happening.

same issue. i think it is because of the presence of a certain username that shouldnt be there. The user ">->" Seems to be in several client control panels.
