What's the difference between 'RELEASE' and STABLE?

What should I put my update preferences at to keep it the most secure and bug free?

I always keep mine to Stable, is a change of you might having your server crash really worth getting a few features a couple of days earlier? Personally I don't think so!

Stable.... but Manual updates

I personally use the Stable Automatic Updates option.

We've been on Edge from day one and have never had even half of the issues others have reported on stable or release.
