It sounds like your /etc directory is full. In WHM what does it say for space available for /etc?

If etc isn't listed under "Show Current Disk Usage" it's likely in the root partition mounted on /. What does it show?

something odd about both of your outputs is HomeRoot: /usr/home. I'm assuming this isn't intentional.

I believe the home directory variable is actually defined for /scripts/wwwacct.conf in /etc/wwwacct.conf. If you open up /etc/wwwacct.conf, what is listed after HOMEDIR?
This may not be the answer but possibly some alterations going on that shouldn't be?!

    Default /home and /usr/home

    Hello

Actually in /home or in /usr/home the problem happens.

Do you have a new suggestion?

Is this all in your /etc/wwwacct.conf including the ; HOMEDIR(<dir>) lines? If so, you may want to take the lines out that begin with a ; It looks like some kind of commenting in the file but ; isn't really effective there.

[edit]ah, you posted before me. don't really know at this point. Did this just start to occur? any recent changes on the server? recent CPanel update? Is the user actually created minus their user directory and all?[/edit]
