Where can I find basic instructions on using whm?

Newbie here.. yes I did search...

All I want to do is setup my main reseller account and then setup client accounts.

Can someone please point me to step by step instructions to setup my main reseller account and then setup client accounts?

Two major questions...

Does the reseller and clients have the same ip address (not dedicated so probrably yes).

I also want to transfer an existing account to my new reseller account what do I do for the question:

Use domain registry nameservers
(ignore locally configured ones).

I appreciate any help.

1) Yes. If you only have one IP and its shared.

2) This isn't a question when moving an account. This is asked on the new account creation screen. (on new account creation, leave this unchecked)
On moving an account over, you will want your package setup first if possible, and you will want to go thru this moved accounts setttings to make sure all is setup correctly after the move. (site owner, theme, package and so on)

It would probably be best to contact your hosting company to determine the best way to set things up as different companies do things slightly differently. Your main reseller account is probably already set up. Some companies set the ownership of the main account to root and others to your username.

Again the hosting company can tell you for sure but it is likely that the IP is the same for the reseller account and the client accounts.
