simply isnt updated and dunno if they will be.
as i recall it doesnt work properly with the new php versions.
as i quote from the website:
Turck MMCache was first launched in 2001 to speed up the www.guestbooks4all.com service. It has been tested under PHP 4.1.0-4.3.3 under GNU/Linux and Windows with Apache 1,3 and 2.0. Patches for ports to other OSs and PHP versions are welcome
Here are some other products that provide the same functionality: [*]Zend Performance Suite [*]PHP Accelerator [*]Alternative PHP Cache [*]AfterBurner Cache
It works just fine with PHP 4.3.9, and I think 4.3.10 works fine too (haven't tested myself).
However I've heard about problems running it with PHP 5.
Have a look here:
MMcache on linux
It is working great under PHP 4.3.9 with latest stable CPanel.
Hope that helps
apparently it doesn't work well with php 4.3.10 because 4.3.10 contains some backported php5 code.

This project seems to be picking up the ball with Turk and is working on the 4.3.10 / 5.x problems actively. It might be worth keeping an eye on it for the next few days...
