Default With WHM can I edit the customer email address associated with each hosting account?

I recently used WHM to email all our hosting clients. Not unsurprisingly, many of the email addresses we sent to were old and/or invalid.

Can we edit these customer emails addresses using WHM, or is the only way for ourselves to login into each customer's Cpanel and update it from there?

    Thanks.

There's a file in each users home directory.

    edit /home/USERNAME/.contactemail

So I'll take that as a 'No' then :-)

    (ie. not possible via WHM).

Correct. You cannot change/set the email addresses through the WHM. Sorry.

    A new feature request, perhaps?

What would be perfect would be a single page list of all the contact email addresses for all hosting accounts, so I can update as many as I like, with a single submit button :-)

    Here's hoping... :-)

I would also like to request this as a feature to be added to WHM. This would make administering the box quite a bit easier.

Another idea with regard to this feature request:

When I go to WHM and click 'Create a New Account' there should be an optional field that allows me to supply the primary contact email address for the new account.

I've just been informed that this enhancement has been added to the latest EDGE release of cPanel, which means that it should hit the stable release 'soon'. Great news!
