    Default whm/cpanel SSL issue

    Hi,

We are looking at putting a SSL certificate on the WHM and cPanel https login so that it doesnt pop up with the annoying security check (and in IE7 it comes up with a totally different page which may put new users off)

The issue that we have is that we tend to get customers to use their own domain name. I.E http://yourdomain.com:2083

The situation obviously being that we cant buy SSL certificates for every domain.

Is there a way around this?

From what we can see, we have 2 options

    1) Use HTTP: instead
    2) Change the link to the server name instead (we felt that being their own domain name, would make it easier for them to remember)

    TIA

Check under tweak settings, you can set it up so it redirects to the server name
