WHM / DNS maintainance

Hi all,

We have 2x cPanel servers and 2x DNS Only servers currently in operation for our corporate websites (we arn't a web host).

We've taken down DNS3 temporarily to conduct some hardware maintainance -with DNS1 and DNS2 running things as per usual during this period.

The problem is that i'm now getting hit once every 5 minutes with a 'cluster server unreachable' email - despite disabling the server as a node.

Is there any way to stop the server pushing out these emails without a) changing the admin contacts, b) deleting the server from the list c) disabling all error notification (as obviously I want to still be aware if a daemon fails or another issue arises).

When you disabled the server in Configure Cluster, did you change to "Standalone" on each cPanel machine that is syncing to the DNS3 one? If you didn't do that, then you would have to change its DNS Role to "Standalone" on those cPanel machines, since otherwise they will keep trying to "Synchronize Changes"
