WHM DNS Only as primary/secondary (NS1/NS2)

We'd like to take DNS load off of our WHM/cPanel servers by running our primary & secondary servers on dedicated WHM DNS Only installations.

Assuming the cluster is setup, is this a perfectly acceptable configuration?
