    Default whm https address help

I have 2 servers both using self signed certificates for whm access and email

If I login to the first server using domainname.com/whm, I get redirected to https://hostname.domainname.com:2087 so the certificate matches the URL

On the second server If I login using domainname.com/whm, I get redirected to https://domainname.com:2087 and the modern browsers complain that the cert doesnt match - Its NOT a big deal but Im betting its a simple difference in configuration and was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction ... Save me the trouble of line by line setting by setting comparison between the servers...

    thanks in advance

You are on the right track, it is a difference in settings.

In WHM -> Server Configuration -> Tweak Settings -> Redirection set "When visiting /cpanel or /whm or /webmail with SSL, you can choose to redirect to:" to "SSL Certificate Name" or force it to use "Hostname" if that doesn't work well for you.
