WHM interface into whois.cart()

Hello,

Just wanted to say that it was a pleasure working with the WHM API into PHP. Absolutely easy and fantastic to build the API for our Whois.Cart system to interface with WHM. We got it done and working in no time and it was crucial for us to be able to auto-provision with our script. Hats off the the CPanel team. Very nice system (we've worked with others that weren't so nice at all).

Alex, I can't see any detail about the WHM integration on your site?

Let me also ask these questions:

Will the program work with IonCube (PHP Accelerator)?

Does it support WorldPay/FuturePay?

Are we able to modify the code?

The WHM integration is new, and the WHM compatible version (2.2) is at RC1. We have lots of new goodies coming out and so we're building a new site for the lot of new features - the site you saw was 2.0-2.1 specific and lacks any of the new provisioning hookups we've implemented.

We use the Zend Encoder which does a really good job. IonCube is Nick Lindridge's commercial version of PhpAccelerator - perhaps once it gains wider support we'll consider it. Right now, since it's only Linux compatible and in competition with the people who actually invented PHP (they also sell an encoder) - it's a bad time investment for us if Zend decides to alter their bytecode structure with PHP5 and IonCube can't keep up for some reason. We do have great respect for their project though.

Every single part of the system that's visually related that your customers will see is editable. You get around 3000 lines of code that you can edit. The rest, for speed and licensing purposes is encoded. Anything you see however, you can change. There's no reason to edit things like low-level parsing and transaction-connectivity functions.

It does support Worldpay. Futurepay is the recurrence system for Worldpay - the Whois.Cart system instead manages recurrences for you. Easier to generate them than to manage outsourced systems if you choose to change payment providers at any point etc.
