    Default whm says i have 24 cpu's... but i have 4

    in "daily process log"

"Note: These figures are averages since 0000 hours today.
Note: This script will only track CGI CPU/memory usage if you have suexec installed.

You have 24 CPUs; therefore, these CPU percentages are divided by 24 to indicate the true percentage of all CPU power used."

Via root SSH/console access, please run the following command and provide its output:
    Code:
    # grep extracpus /var/cpanel/cpanel.config

The numeric value set by the extracpus configuration directive will be added to the number of detected processor cores when calculating load. If needing to strictly enforce calculations based on the actual count of detected processor cores, then the extracpus directive would need to be modified to zero, that is "0" (without quotes).

The aforementioned configuration can be safely modified using WebHost Manager (WHM) via the following menu path:
WHM: Main >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings >> Stats and Logs
    • Extra CPUs for server load [?] The load average above the number of CPUs at which log file processing should be suspended
