WHM Stalls on Account Creation

Hello, I'm having trouble creating an account. WHM just sits there and spins it's wheels. The process I took is: Add the IP to system, clicked Create New Account, associated it with the new IP. Output below. <hidden> entries are correct for the system.

That's all. It freezes here. Inspection shows that public_ftp was created properly; anything else I should check for a stopping point? /var/log files don't reflect any errors.

This is the 2nd account i've created, using the same process; the first account went OK, the only hangup was that I had to manually restart apache.

Any ideas or more info I could provide?

Not unlike kicking the misbehaving dog, I rebooted the server and retried the wwwacct script; it worked fine this time. I did notice two instances of the wwwacct script running before the reboot (idle but present pids), they may have been dueling for locked files or something.
