Where can this be set in the new 11.28 interface?
Where can this be set in the new 11.28 interface?
Under System in WHM's Tweak Settings, there is now this option:
The choices for this option are the following:Accounts that can access a cPanel user account
# Root, Account-Owner, and cPanel User default
# Account-Owner and cPanel User Only
# cPanel User Only
If you select the first, anyone can log into the cPanel account (root, the reseller owner and the cPanel user). If you select the second option, root cannot log into the cPanel accounts, but the reseller owner and cPanel user can. If you select the third option, only the cPanel account owner can access the cPanel account.

If I select the option "Root, Account-Owner, and cPanel User default" then applications like RVskin manager and CSF still recognizes the configuration 'Disable login with root or reseller password into the users' as being set.
Do i have to contact RVSkins/CSF for a solution or is this a leftover configuration set somewhere in WHM that I cannot access through the regular WHM interface?
Regards,
Dennis
Hello Dennis,
Without knowing why RVSkin and CSF are improperly reading the setting, it's not possible to know what is causing that for those products. It probably is best to contact their support to ask about the issue first to see why they aren't detecting it properly.
Thanks.
