whm's default shared SSL certificate doesn't work

hi

i am having problems with the shared SSL cert. working on all of my servers (7)

the https://server:2087/ whm and cpanel connections work fine, the https://server/~username/ does not work at all. In firefox I get a "this connection has terminated unexpectedly, some data may have been transferred" error message and in IE it just doesn't load the site.

What is weird is that I can use http://server:443/~username/ and that works fine and like I mentioned above, the https WHM and cPanel connections also work fine.

I tried resetting the cert via WHM but it does not help.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

reinstall the cert again on the server's main ip.

it's just the whm genereted cert, resetting and generating a new one via whm has not helped

if tthps://server/~username doest work have a look in the TWEAK SECURITY and make sure that you have not disabled mod_userdir Tweak.

its not that either

https://servername/ alone doesnt work nor does https://ip
all the same error as i posted above

bump.... brand new cpanel install on a brand new server and it still is not working even on there, anyone know what might be causing this?

I am having the same issue pretty much, but I cant log into any https:// site on my box.. I hope theres a work around for it..
