I am thinking about taking the dive to EDGE just to get a sooner start on DKIM. Any words of wisdom? I have about 60 websites on my one server. Thoughts? Big bugs?

Don't. I am. It's not ready and you'll only get grey hair.
Patience is a virtue.Any words of wisdom?![]()

I advise you not to do that, I faced a lot of issues updating to EDGE "As a first time in my life".
Wait for the STABLE or at least the RELEASE.
They sure move very slow with the development of 11.31/32 .... "Steam Locomotive"

I disagree. cPanel is very complex and there's much to consider. It's not as simple as adding a couple lines to a file somewhere.

I do agree it's very complex and i never though it's about adding a couple of lines but i have imagined that a company like cPanel should have like 10+ developers which should do things a lil-bit faster. Anyways it was just a personal opinion (as watching cPanel for years)

The problem is that we are spending a lot of money/year on cPanel. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your hard work and an excellent product, but the missing DKIM features has deserved a better time table than the one we had. I am a huge cPanel fan, but it is very frustrating.
I'm on edge,mainly because mysql upgrade.so far i have 3 issues:
1. emails sent from outlook express werent going anywhere.so in each clients side in outlook express you should tick on the option that says "my outgoing server requires authentication". then it works
2. there is some logaholic program, something new that requires license, but nevertheless it hogs the cpu sometimes while I presume processing logs
3. connection error to the modsec sql database: DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Table 'modsec.modsec' doesn't exist at /etc/cron.hourly/modsecparse.pl
I'll wait for the release and then file a complainother than that so far everything seems ok

If you find any issues in EDGE, please do submit a bug report to http://go.cpanel.net/bugs or using the link at the top. We rather get these fixed while in EDGE than to have any issues when it goes to CURRENT or RELEASE. That's the purpose of EDGE testing, which we really appreciate our userbase who is willing to assist with such testing.

Is there a good place to go to see a list of all the bugs still open at any given release and which ones have been opened since the beginning of a development release that are not closed? I am willing to test on edge, but not right away.... hence this thread.
Thanks,
Frank

Sorry if it did sound like a complain as that's not what i meant. I have attended at some "hosting events" where i did see some nice upcoming stuff from "rival" and when i seen this slow progress with cPanel and the Enkompass news i kinda started to feel like "cPanel must have some bad moments which i hope wont lead to less and less progress" as i love cPanel![]()

As do I, trust me.
There is no slowing of progress with cPanel. Sometimes we wait, sometimes we get updates fast. It depends on what those updates are of course but it's always been worth the wait to see whats next.
