Default Why cant cPanel users add their own domain aliases?

One of my customers has the whole gamut of Top level endings for his domain....how can he point them all to the same directory?
    i.e.

    his main domain is

maindomain.COM for which his files are located in at root of /public_html/

    now he wants

    maindomain.NET
    maindomain.ORG
    maindomain.TV
    maindomain.CC
    ...
    ...
    etc.

to all point to the same place as maindomain.COM

I believe this can be done using parked domains from WHM. Is there a way to do this from cPanel so that I dont have to be involved?

    thankyou, HG

You will need to do 1 things for him and he will be able to do the other part.

First you will need to edit packages under Packages, raise the "Max Parked Domains" to however many you want him to be able to add, default is 0

The next part is all up to him, all he needs to do is access his cpanel, select his parked domain icon and add what he is allowed.

    thanks!
So parking from cPanel points to the deafult domain (the main domain)?
Is there a way to park to a subdomain from cPanel?

    thanks you., HG

    You mean like a something.domain.com to domain.com ?
Yes of course if this is what you mean.

ADOS, what I meant (using cPanel language) is.....can I park a domain into an addon domain? (all within cPanel...not using WHM).
    thank you again, HG
