Default Why can't I get rid of named?

I have it unchecked in every option i can find.

But everytime the server reboots, named is running. It also starts mysteriously. I have not been able to determine what cpanel/whm function is reactivating it.

I firmly believe name services have no place on a web farm. The big part of the problem is that the machines dns information is entirely inaccurate, as I have dedicated mail servers for each customer that are separate machines.

everything breaks when cpanels named starts running.

Is there a way to toally remove it from WHM?
