Default Why CPanel ain't upgrading ?

    Hi,

I have started getting new CPanel problems now: Whenever i try to upgrade CPanel at around 20% i start getting this:

    Sync Source: http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/STABLE/scripts
    Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanels...lock....Trying httpupdate.cpanel.net @ 69.72.164.152
Error 404 while fetching url http://httpupdate.cpanel.net//cpanel...panelsync.lock
    ...Done

And after 10 retries it skips this and then simply moves to next step and it just completes the upgradation in which nothing is done at all. Means it does not upgrades anything and just skpis the other stuff and shows as 100% completed. Please tell me whats going on ..

    Thanks

I'd suggest that you move to the RELEASE tree (especially sine that is the recommended tree) since that uses the new retrieval method. Or wait until the new STABLE is released.
