Why do mail folder permissions keep changing?

Hi,

As the title says, why do permissions keep changing on mail folders? Every time we run "Repair Mailbox permissions" from WHM it corrects several accounts.

The main cause is the third-party webmail apps, i.e. Neomail, SquirrelMail and Horde.

Hi. I have the following problem.
Every few hours the mail permissions get changed from walshcu:mail to the following:

This only happens on one user.
/scripts/mailperm does not fix it

I have to go and do "chown -R walshcu:mail /home/walshcu/mail" and everything starts working again (for a few hours) and after a while it goes back to the wrong permissions.

Any way to stop this from happening?
