Why does my mail queue process and send messages faster?

Just wondeirng... I have items that are in there for 10 minutes+ and they just sit there. I click deliver now, and they send just fine.

Messages that aren't able to be sent immediately are placed in the queue. They are not constantly tried - there is a delay between each retry.

It might be simply that the messages weren't able to be sent, and were waiting for the proper time to pass before they were retried -- you manually having them tried again would obviously override the delay...

You can set the delay before retrying in WHM...
