Question will WHM/cPanel work with MySQL Enterprise?

I'm needing to install MySQL Enterprise on my server and I was wanting to make sure that WHM/cPanel 11 will still work with it as it does with MySQL Community Ed. Are there any gotchas I need to watch out for?

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

You need to disable mysqlup from running. Do this via the Update Config interface in WHM.

I also just upgraded to Enterprise(5.0.60) recently. I disabled mysqlup so it would stop reverting back to the old version(5.0.51a). However now I can no longer use WHM to restart services, repair databases, or show processes. What else do I need to configure in order to get these working again?

    Thanks.

What errors are reported when attempting to perform those actions?

You might want to open a support ticket regarding this as disabling mysqlup via the Update Configuration interface in WHM should not hamper the other functions. You can open a support ticket at https://tickets.cpanel.net/submit/
