Default Would you want ability to have "sub-cpanel account users"?

Would something like that interest you? Is it something you need?

    For example:

    1. cPanel user logs into cpanel and clicks a "create sub-account user" button.

    2. The cpanel User can create "sub-account" users. Each sub-account user would have an access control list of cpanel features that they can access. If the feature is not "checked", then the sub-account will not be able to access that cpanel functionality.

The idea is that you (cpanel user) could create "limited" cpanel access for sub-users, who might have access only to create email accounts, or manage databases, or view statistics, or whatever...

Let me know if something like this would interest you. (And if so, perhaps add your thoughts on what features would be nice to see, etc..)

What would interest me more is sub-users for whm instead. Outsourcing a helpdesk or a temporary admin to only areas needed such as email and dns not not create, delete etc etc. You get the idea.

    Hello,

I think this would be a good option for cPanel users. I have read some posts previously about this topic.

Maybe cPanel developers are working on it, right? (at least you should think about it boys )

If you *really* want to prod the developers into doing something, the best way to do this would be via the feature request system. Get people to add themselves as CC and vote for a feature and it will let our developers know that people really want that feature and as a result it should be implemented .

In fact, it's already in the feature request system:

Sub-resellers is also something that has been previously requested:

It's been almost 2.5 years since that feature request was added to the system.

Is there some place we can see if you guys are "considering" it? Is it on the roadmap? Is it in current development?

I've been thinking of making our own "workaround" for this ability, but there is little point if cpanel is going to release it as a new feature in a week.

How can I find out if this is something in current development or if it's something you're considering, etc.. ?
