    Default wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock

    ok so i got 4 hdd's in the box. the 80 gb drive and the 200 gb drives are mounted. i need to mount the 120 gb drive which is critical for me to be done.]

    /dev/hda1 * 1 13 104391 83 Linux
    /dev/hda2 14 14593 117113850 8e Linux LVM

    this one

    [root@fast /]# mount -t ext3 /dev/hdb2 /oldhdd
    mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdb2,
    or too many mounted file systems


    what can i do please? this is very urgent

    the 120 gb one i am trying to mount is the one that had the OS on. i could mount
    /dev/hdb1 * 1 13 104391 83 Linux, but i could not mount

    /dev/hdb2 14 14593 117113850 8e Linux LVM

    please help this is critical for me.

    fixed in about 6 hours of work.

    you need to mount the second disk asl LVM and it will work. my drive was scrrewed so i just copied the sql dbs and thrown the drive on the highway.
