www. doesnt work and http:// does work help me!

Hey,
havent a slight problem i recall on an old server i fixed it now i cant remeber.
when typing www.hello.com it works and when typing http://hello.com it doesnt work or vice versa on other domains or something along them lines
i remeber there was a way to fix it anyone know?

Ok sorry it was wrong
www.hello.com doesnt work
and http://hello.com does work for my domains
hello is obviously an example
what i do
i know theres a quick fix for this cant remeber what tho!

I am also facing the same problem My sites are visible without the "www" but when we insert "www" the sites dont load.

Any leads ;pointers to this PLEASE ????
