    Default xController/Fantastico & WHM demos...

I would like to add xController/Fantastico & WHM demos on our hosting web site. My questions are what is the best way to do this? I want to go the cheapest but best route. Typical huh?

    1) Should I use an add on domain or a sub domain like cpanel.mydomain.com

    2) Should I just buy a new domain name like cpaneldemo.info then set it up in WHM as a demo accout?

I atleast know where to start with this for cPanel but have no clue for WHM with xSkin. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I do sub-domains for all demos, and forums, and monitoring servers scripts.

If i were you I would do a "static" demo, just copy over some of the pages to show examples, it may take more work but you wont leave yourself open to some big security risks.
If you use the demo account feature you could be leaving yourself open to attacks from people, they only have to upload 1 file that can loop and eat up all your server resources...
