    Well, my question is because everything is installed in my server but when I try to access a file that uses ZEND it shows:
    Zend Optimizer not installed
    And this is my PHPINFO:
    Zend Extension 20050606
    Zend Memory Manager enabled

    This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine:
    Zend Engine v1.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2004 Zend Technologies with Zend Extension Manager v1.2.0, Copyright (c) 2003-2007, by Zend Technologies with Zend Optimizer v3.2.6, Copyright (c) 1998-2007, by Zend Technologies

    Optimization Pass 1 enabled
    Optimization Pass 2 enabled
    Optimization Pass 3 enabled
    Optimization Pass 4 enabled
    Optimization Pass 9 enabled
    Zend Loader enabled
    License Path no value
    Obfuscation level 3
    So, why it shows that ZEND is not installed?

    Any idea?

    Secmas:

    Are you running PHP 5?

    You might need to tweak /scripts/installzendopt to install Zend Optimizer 3.2.8.

    All is needed is to change this line:
    my $ver = '3.2.2';

    to

    my $ver = '3.2.8';

    Then run the script to install that version accordingly.

    Default Php 5.2.1 with Zend Optmizer3.2.8 (Failed)

    I have installed the Zend Optimizer using /scripts/installzendopt after changing the version to 3.2.8
    The installation went smooth. But still I am not getting the Zend Optmizer activated on the web (phpinfo)
    This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine:
    Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2007 Zend Technologies
    where as from my console its shows that Zend Optimizer is installed

    root@server [~]# php -i | grep Zend
    Configuration File (php.ini) Path => /usr/local/Zend/etc/php.ini
    Zend Extension => 220060519
    Zend Memory Manager => enabled
    This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine:
    Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2007 Zend Technologies
    with Zend Extension Manager v1.2.0, Copyright (c) 2003-2007, by Zend Technologies
    with Zend Optimizer v3.2.8, Copyright (c) 1998-2007, by Zend Technologies
    Zend Optimizer
    Zend Loader => enabled
    I am using php version 5.2.1+ apache 1.3
    CentOS 4.4
    Please guide some help. We really need to fix this as our billing system totally depends on this Zend optimizer

    Thank you

    Smile my issue is fixed

    I did a recompile of php+apache from the WHM with an UNCHECKED version option within the php modules.
    That showed up the Zend Optimizer on phpinfo(); also .

    Now using php5.2.1 + ZendOptmizer 3.2.8 with apache 1.3

    Life is back to normal.

    Thank you All.

    Oh yeah, figured you would have already known about that since that's a very old
    problem leftover from several years ago!

    When using either Zend or PHP 5 or both, don't compile PHP with "versioning" enabled!

    No, my question is: how should I upgrade PHP from 5.1.6 to 5.2.1? Is there a Cpanel script I can use?

    You can use Apache Update in WHM for that.

    If you want to hit me up on AIM or PM me, I'll upgrade your PHP for you for free - it'd probably be easier for you than having to decrypt forum posts.
