Default Zend Optimizer on Red Hat 9

Anyone know of any tutorials to install Zend Optimizer on Red Hat 9? We are looking to install it on our new server however we keep coming across issues where it causes basic php functions to stop running in the apache process. We have used the /scripts/ program to install it too!

doesn't work. Messes up websites when I run that, though the zend optimizer works.

    Actually, it works great.

Just go with the defaults during the installation and you should be OK.
