.zip upload problem

ok here is the problem

some of my clients cannot upload .zip files, when they do the screen turns blank and nothing happens. I'd like some assistance on that

A zip file is not different to any other file as far as FTP or HTTP are concerned.

Any problems uploading zip files will be specific to the client.

but he is able to upload other files correctly

I'm not suggesting that there is a general problem at the client end, just a problem.

If the screen literally goes blank and literally nothing happens, they have either a bizarre but not impossible OS or FTP client issue.

- Have you tried uploading the files yourself?
- Have you checked what OS and FTP client the user is using?

Are you using the cPanel File Manager to upload the *.zip files or a conventional FTP progam? In any case, check the log files: /var/log/messages and /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log and see if there are any errors related to this issue.
