VPS are hosted on Hewlett Packard DL380G6 servers with dual quad core Xeon Nehalem processors,
DDR3 EEC FB RAM, hardware RAID6 and enterprise class SAS drives. What does this mean to

Software
The Xen hypervisor is a powerful open source industry standard for virtualization offering
a powerful, efficient, and secure feature set for virtualization.

Network
To ensure the lowest latency, greatest packet delivery and fastest speeds all VPS are
connected at gigabit speeds to our all-gigabit network with connectivity from Tiscali,
Telia, NTT/Verio, Interoute and Cogent - provided by Gyron Internet Ltd. Test IP 193.227.111.2

Security
Virtual servers are behind a redundant pair of Cisco hardware firewalls. 10 custom rules
can be setup at no additional cost. Contact sales for additional rules. We also employ
redundant Intrusion Prevention Systems that monitor network activity for malicious or
unwanted behavior and react in real-time to block or prevent those activities.

Who owns the servers ?
We are NOT resellers. All hardware is bought and owned by us outright - not leased.
We own and operate our own routing, firewall and switching equipment.

How many VPS's per node ?
8. CPU time scales with memory, eg. 4GB plan gets twice the cpu time of 2GB plan.

Do you offer management ?
Yes, this is available during the order process.

Is IRC hosting allowed?
No, we do not allow any IRC servers.

Do you offer any control panels ?
DirectAdmin is FREE, WHM/cPanel £5 per month.

How long does it take for the VPS to be set up ?
Your VPS will be setup in minutes, subject to payment method and availability.

Are additional IP Addresses available ?
Each plan has a maximum number of IP's - all IP's are subject to RIPE rules.
