Customizing X3

Hi,
I have gone through documents on customization of skins at mybrandedhost.com as well as http://twiki.cpanel.net/twiki/pub/Al...ng_docs_x3.pdf

If some one can advice:-
1. Will the changes made in x3 theme using above stay when there is a cpanel update?

2. Steps to save and use modified theme as a new theme eg edited x3 is used as x33 as defualt.

With the documents on MyBrandedHost.com and the branding documents, you actually aren't modifying the x3 theme code at all, just the way it displays content (the "style"). As a result, you wont need to worry about a cPanel update erasing these changes.

As the root (or reseller) user, login to your Branding Editor, identify the style you want to apply to all new accounts and click on "Set Default for New Accounts."
