attempts to login with http://domain.com:2082 and
after 3 attempts failed , cpanel shows a CpanelX web page (with the CpanelX logo) asking to enter a user and password.
I wish to customize that page , but I cannot find it ...where is located ?

It's encrypted in cpaneld, I guess. Only choice you have is using http://www.cpanel.net/cpanel-login.phps. You can place the login page anywhere, and if user uses wrong password it will redirect back to your own login page not the X one. Very nice integration. Search the forum, there is a sample code.

Rvskin, can you apply what you just said to your own skin? When users cancel either their webmail or cpanel login (or enter the wrong username or password) they get the CpanelX logo page! Can you not do something about this?Originally posted by rvskin

Your Webmail link inside the skin still has the HTTP auth popup. Maybe you should consider the login.phps form?

Take a look on this thread http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread....ighlight=login .
Although you can have your login page but if user go to /cpanel not /login/ it will show CpanelX web page (with the CpanelX logo). As it is in encrypted file, nobody can change it except Cpanel staff.
The last choice you may have is submit feature request at
http://bugzilla.cpanel.net . Don't use the link in support page on cpanel.net.

Actually, not all of the page is encrypted. You can change the header, footer and css file as well as the images.Originally posted by rvskin

I'll give you a hint! Right click on any image on the CpanelX page and look in the properties. You will see the path in there.Originally posted by rvskin

Please do your best to incorporate the login.phps form and the customized images in Rvskin as soon as possible.
Thanks for the info. I know that where are the images but I cannot find the header.html , footer.html and believe that those are in Cpaneld.
