When I click in file manager, this open a new window and the url location not is "public_html", but two randomic letters.
For exemplo: ml, pl etc. Never that view /public_html/
(i use the latest blueroy and latest cpanel stable with portuguese-portugal translation).
This problem not happen with old file manager.
thank you
I was unable to reproduce the issue on a local test system while using Blueroy and Portuguese (português) as the language/locale; here is the URI I am seeing while testing:
It will help to know more details about the circumstances involved so that we can more accurately diagnose the reported symptoms.Code:/frontend/x3/filemanager/index.html?showhidden=1&dir=/public_html
Please provide the output from the following command via root SSH access:
Please also provide the output displayed by the following command, where "username" should be replaced by the applicable cPanel account username:Code:# grep '' /etc/*release /usr/local/cpanel/version /var/cpanel/envtype /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3/branding/blueroy/ver*.txt
Code:# egrep -i "lang|locale" /var/cpanel/users/username

Hi Don,
I think apterix was talking about something else, which bothers me too.
Namely, the problem is not in the URL in the browser, but the field in File Manager which shows you the current path.
I will demonstrate with some screenshots.
1. Here you can see what I am talking about:
http://i42.tinypic.com/33z2oh3.gif
2. This is an explanation why this poses a problem:
http://i44.tinypic.com/2libh2b.gif
So you see, I cannot do any basic operations in File Manager (like Copy, Move etc).
3. This shows the normal state of the path field, what it should look like:
http://i42.tinypic.com/x1wrh4.gif
I get that only when I click on the folders from the left-side bar.
I hope the problem is now clear.
Also, I realized those letters have something to do with the folder in which you are supposed to be. The small letter "L" (l) appears to be the last letter of the word "public_html". Also, I was once in a folder called "wordpress", and the letter "s" appeared in the current path field.
Thank you very much Don, I hope this will get fixed soon.

Thank you for the added clarification; however, there is insufficient detail for an accurate diagnosis. I have attempted to reproduce the symptoms but thus far my attempts have not been successful; given the limited information provided we will require additional detail to attempt reproduction with a greater level of accuracy. Ultimately, it may be necessary to have direct access to a system where the issue is exhibited so that we may thoroughly inspect the circumstances involved.
Is the system running Linux (RHEL/CentOS) or FreeBSD?
Adding to the above, please provide the details requested in this earlier post: cPanel Forums - View Single Post - Re: apterix "new file manager"

Thank you very much for the information. Please submit a ticket as it will be necessary to inspect and investigate the issue directly on the server that is exhibiting the described behavior. Using the same language, locale, blueroy theme version, cPanel version and STABLE build tree on a local test system running the same OS release (CentOS 5.4) I attempted to reproduce the described symptom but I was still unable to actively see the issue during testing.
When available, please PM me referencing this thread and your new ticket ID number so I may follow-up internally. For reference, the links in my forums signature may be used to initiate a ticket submission, such as via the following: Additional Support Options

Hi,
I think that the Blue Roy theme is a very great work; thank you!
Now I have one question: how can we add javascript support for this template?
Regards,
--
David
JavaScript is already used in many areas throughout cPanel X3 and cPanel BlueRoy.
If you would like to request a specific feature or enhancement to cPanel please post a detailed description in the following forums area that is dedicated to feature requests; this will ensure greater visibility of and attention to each unique feature request (with one feature request per thread).

Nice, thanks!
Thanks for your quick response. There was a problem on my side that gets me into confusion.
One other question: is it possible to get working the "quick search" function for this template? I was able to enable and get running the "Frequently Accessed Areas" block but not the "Quick search".
Thanks again!
It is certainly possible to manually edit a copy of cPanel Blueroy to apply custom modifications; however, if you would like to see a new feature available in Blueroy I recommend posting a feature request dedicated to that purpose. A feature request may be posted one per thread in the following forums area: Feature Requests for cPanel and WHM - cPanel Forums

How can I uninstall this theme?
