Default Looking to brand JUST the login pages - need help

I'm wanting to brand JUST the login pages for cPanel, Webmail and WHM. I already have skins used on teh control panel and WHM itself but I want the customer to see a page with my logo etc on it when they goto www.mydomains.com:2095 and such. How would I go about doing this? I looked over the forum but only found the following path, which is for the webmail:

    /usr/local/cpanel/base/webmail

Any other information is helpfull and appriciated. Thanks.

I believe thats the path to cPanel webmail set-up, not for logging in to webmail. Tack the theme you use on the end and that's where you can configure webmail when you login to cPanel. ? Could be wrong...

edit: When you hit dom.tld:2095 it pops up with a login box first, don't forget...

It doesn't popup that login box if you use cookie authentication rather then http authentication. I use cookie authentication right now. I'll dig around in the directories. Anyone else have an idea? It doesn't seem to have anythign to do with the cPanel theme i'm using since i'm using rvSkin adn it looks like the x theme. I am using x for WHM however, so i'll poke around and see what I can find.

this doesn't exactly do what i'm wanting. I already have login pages, but if a customer goes directly to the page via port 2082 or 2095 they still get the generic cpanel logos. I'm wanting to brand just those, i don't care if the rest is cpanel.

If you look in a folder called unprotected you can edit those logos. Which will update the logo's etc. My problem is removing the password reset option on that page. I don't want it there at all...where is the template living for this page? Anyone??

    Default Places images hide

There are many places branding images may be served from

    /usr/local/cpanel/base/webmail
    /usr/local/cpanel/base/unprotected
    /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend
    and more

If you know of any others or have some better doccumentation on branding than what was supplied in the whm pdf, please post.

The problem updating the files in unprotected is the Cpanel upgrade overwrites them which is incredibly annoying.

In WHM, you can specify a default modified theme in the cpanel/whm setup section. Where is the option to set the theme for the login page & webmail page?

They're listed under the universal theme manager section in cpanel 11 but theres no option to set whatever theme you upload.

The option is in tweak settings

    Display
The login theme to display for cPanel Login. See the Universal Theme Manager for options. If you are posting to /login/ you can include "login_theme" as a uri/form variable to overwrite this setting on a per case basis.

    Thumbs up

    Same problem here..

I've set up, uploaded, and applied my login theme (in tweak settings) but it's still not working.. the default cpanel one still loads for whm, cpanel, and webmail.

    any suggestions?

Same here, not sure what else to do in WHM.

I have just written a script to copy back my modified files for the login pages whenever they change.

I still can't get my custom images to load.. the html pages seem to work but thats all..

anyone have any other ideas here?

EDIT: ahh found the issue.. and fixed it.

the theme's css file uses the default /unprotected/images path.. all you need to do it edit it (again) to the correct theme's image dir paths.
