Planning on releasing free skins - New API questions

Hey guys,

I'm working on a set of skins for cPanel & WHM which I am going to release for free, the question I have is - I know the new API is coming out soon, is there any information available on it and/or does anyone have the new skin yet?

I dont have a server i can switch as far forward as edge so if it's in there can somebody please send me a themeball?

My reason for asking is that, I dont see the point in building my skins for the old API if they are going to be made obsolete in the next couple of months, to save some work i'd rather build them for the new API.

Also is there anywhere I can get reasonable resolution EPS's or PSD's and such of the cPanel Branding logos, as I would like to include them in some of the themes but all I have is low res gif versions with a green background, I can always re-sample them and cut them out, but its uneeded aggro if it can be avoided.

I hear ya man, I was working on a new project too to which I was using the old api. Now I guess I should wait and see. I will hold off too. you are right why waste your time?

The new skin has not been released yet. I remember them saying it wasnt in production yet anyayws...

IIRC, it won't appear until cPanel v12, so there may be some wait. You could try contacting cPanel directly and asking them about it as a developer, though.

Hey thanks for the info Chirpy! Guess I should get back to work on it. I think I will contact cPanel and see what they can do.
