Question Xskin/X2 ... 100% lang aware ? (also, spanish file anyone?)

I want to test the X and X2 themes to see if they are fully lang-aware ... anyone know ?

I mean... if you use a traslated file ... it's X and X2 completly in that language, or there are hard coded lang in the theme ?

    And filnally...
Does anyone have the Language file translated into Spanish (the original cpanel lang file...) and/or any other languages.

    Thanks.

humm.... I was inspecting the theme files....

and I have things on the html code like :

    <div align="center"><font class="big">Mail Manager Main Menu:</font><br>
    or ...
    <td height="25"><font face="Arial"> <a href="pops.html">Add / Remove accounts</a></font></td>
    </tr>
    ....

    TOO BAD.... not lang aware!!!

Too far I look on most themes, that are not lang aware really...

so... congrats Kosmo, I'll keep using your theme, that's true lang-aware.

Bdraco... why dont you buy kosmo theme and include them with Cpanel ? think in us! international people...

    Regards.

The x themes are not FULLY language aware just yet, but they will be within the next few months.

In essence, the x themes are as much language aware as the old default themes. The main (index) page and some subpages are language aware, but not the entire theme.

    From WHM:
Note: Most Themes are not yet language aware.

Yes ... I know that not all themes are fully lang aware ... I will tell you the true ... I dont use the default theme at all... I was using other theme I bought. Cause I have lot of spanish clients and resellers also.
I thought the X themes were already lang aware...
as we know the language thing is here with us from long time...
I'm using modified language files with kosmo themes for months... if not a full year...

X is a nice theme, but not being lang aware makes me not use it...
I wish if CPANEL could really think in US international people ... there are a lot of things there (for example, be able to select language when creating an account, or default language by resellers ... or by packages... or whatever...) not everyone can read and undestand english as me ...

what is the problem you think? ...
well... I could REMAKE the X theme and rewrite the coded english into spanish .... but .... WHAT IF the theme changes ? ... if something is added ...etc. it's not just changing a lang file to add a line ... it's very complicated to do so if you are using another theme.
That's why I want the beautifull X theme to be LANG AWARE, and you say "few months"... sound like a lot of time for me.

I hope Nick reads this... and understand that there's some kind of problem with international things.
Not only themes are not lang aware ...
but also if you have a lang aware theme ... you can't select language when creating accounts, so you need to go to Modify Account to change language ... BUT HELL! you dont want to enable Modify Account to your Resellers (cause they can do a looooot of things if you do it).... but damn you have spanish or french or whatever language resellers....
    so...?

    that's actually my problems...

I think I'm not the only one on this...

    Carlos,

I understand your concern and I can't speak on Nick's behalf, but I would assume that this is not a high priority item at this time simply because there are lots of themes in Spanish and other languages.

All I can tell you is that I know for a fact that the X SKINS will be fully language aware within the next 3 months or so. At present, we are working on making it happen.

    rbmatt ....
then imagine spanish people trying to understand a control panel in english when they just know "hello, my name is..." ... it's very hard for them, as is hard for a lot of people if I say :

But I do agree, there should be more language aware- not just translated- skins.
