    Default Suspending Resellers

Hi, just wanted to request a feature. When our billing softwares suspend an reseller cpanel should also allow of suspending all users under that reseller.

For big hosts its hard to manually suspend the accounts under the reseller if the reseller does not pay for the month etc...

Currently cpanel only suspends the reseller but all the accounts under the reseller will continue to work.

    Thanks!

It is currently possible to suspend or unsuspend a reseller and all of owned accounts via the Reseller Center in WHM, at the following menu path:

WHM: Main >> Resellers >> Reseller Center >> View usage/stats and manage (suspend, terminate, etc.)
Documentation: View Usage/Stats and Manage (suspend, terminate, etc)

On the above page there are two features relating to suspension and unsuspension of resellers, each with an option to include the reseller's main account in the process. The two options are toggled via a check-box followed by a submit button, as listed below:

Check-box option: "Suspend Reseller's Main Account"
Submit button: "Suspend All <reseller username>'s Accounts"

Check-box option: "UnSuspend Reseller's Main Account"
Submit button: "UnSuspend All <reseller username>'s Accounts"

To clarify the feature request, are you needing to accomplish the same two functions as listed above but using an API request, such as from a billing application or similar automation software?

Ah ok thanks, I was told that you can only suspend the reseller and not all of the accounts under that reseller and would have to do it manually.

I currently do use a billing software to suspend accounts and i do not believe it suspends the accounts under the reseller and only suspends the reseller its self.

    Thanks!

You should discuss this problem with your billing software vendor.

I use AWBS - Advanced Webhost Billing System - formerly DRAMS, and it *does* suspend the reseller and all reseller's accounts.

This seems to be a feature request for a billing application rather than cPanel/WHM at this point. I am closing this thread since this functionality exists in cPanel/WHM. Feature requests for a billing application should be directed to the manufacturer of that billing application.
