    Hey everyone.
Is it possible to make a subdomain point to a custom IP address? I've managed to redirect a subdomain to my home IP address, but when I enter the site, the address bar changes to my home IP (and I want to keep the original subdomain in the address bar).
I don't have control of my domain, but I have access to the cPanel (obvious) and access to the WHM where my website is hosted (I have a reseller account).
Is it possible to do this without having control of my domain?

    Thanks in advance,
    Fergo

How did you make the redirect ? In your case, it looks like just changing the A record for that subdomain, editing the DNS zone, to your home ip will fix the problem.

Yeah, I found that in WHM later. Thanks for the answer.
Now I realized that my ISP blocks port 80. Is it possible to change the default port in the DNS Zone settings to redirect to my IP in a different port?
I could use services like No-IP, but then the original page title is overwritten.

    Thanks in advance,
    Fergo
