    Hi,

I have a client who wants to transfer their site to my cpanel server. They are currently hosted using goDaddy's hosting service for their website.

Is there a way to do a transfer via WHM the way that you can transfer from plesk, etc?

    Thanks

A cPanel to cPanel migration? Yes, just select "WHM" as the remote server. Though, I will say that migrations on the basis of using the user's username/pass rather than root login credentials tend not to run as smoothly as it would if you had root login credentials to the server (not likely in this scenario).

It wouldn't be a cPanel to cPanel transfer because I don't think that goDaddy uses cPanel for their hosting customers. It looks like some sort of proprietary asp coded control panel.

It probably wouldn't hurt to ask them.
